The Gorgeous Hussies Blog/cast

In the most recent installment of The Gorgeous Hussies SongBuskers, the band plays a cover of the classic americana song, ‘You Are My Sunshine,’ originally recorded in 1939 and brought back to popularity by the film O Brother Where Art Thou. The song was requested by Jessica for here birthday. She wanted it to be melancholy. John isn’t sure excatly how melancholy it was, but is happy with the descending diatonic bass line in the new chord progression.
Shot in a local carwash where it was about 28 degrees outside.
