In this installment of Song Buskers, Jordan and John from The Gorgeous Hussies cover Loverboy’s hit single from their 1981 release ‘Get Lucky.’ The arena rock staple, ‘Everybody’s Working For the Weekend,’ which like grad student at midterms had way more pop in it than they were used to, generated a lot of interest in the multi-platinum releasing band. Loverboy released both the song and the album while on tour opening for Journey.
